AD| We’re in a heatwave so there has never been a more perfect time for ice cream - or frozen desserts in general! The @Ninja UK CREAMi is a summer essential. You can make sorbet, gelato, frappes, slushis and more. This is my recipe for a banana, honey & tahini filled with delicious nuggets of ginger biscuit crumbled through. It’s the perfect summer desert, and so unbelievably easy to make. I can’t wait to experiment more with the Ninja CREAMi, stay tuned for more ice cream recipes!  Ingredients:  5 ripe bananas  2 tsp honey  3 tbsp tahini  1 tbsp milk  4-5 ginger biscuits  Method:  Finely chop the bananas and mush them down into a CREAMi pot, pour over the honey, tahini and milk and put in the freezer for 24 hours.  Once frozen solid, put the lid on and pop into the Ninja CREAMi machine and select sorbet mode. The machine does all the work for you and terms the banana tahini honey mixture into a lovely ice cream. Take the lid off and create a 4 cm hole in the ice cream mixture and fill this with your crushed ginger biscuits. Put the lid back on, back into the machine and select mix in mode.  And there you have your very very delicious, very easy ice cream! I like to top it with more honey and more crushed ginger biscuits, enjoy!

Heat the olive oil and butter in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the cabbage wedges and char them on all sides until they have a nice golden-brown color. Reduce the heat to medium and pour in the chicken stock. Season with sea salt and fresh black pepper to taste. Cover the pan and let the cabbage braise for about 20-25 minutes until it is tender and infused with the flavors of the stock. What I eat in a day!  I don’t particularly have a good routine of eating, I think it’s just bad habits I picked up when working as a chef - you just tend to graze all day! But breakfast is always quite a solid mealtime for me so I like to keep it diverse and varied! When it’s hot, we have a Caesar salad on rotation and this time I shoved it all into a wrap - including the crispy croutons, such a touch!!! Sprinkled loads of fresh parmesan on top before wrapping it up and it ended up being a delicious, fresh, crunchy lunch. Perfect for hot weather. Here’s how to make Gingery Cabbage Rolls With Pork and Rice: • 1 medium head savoy cabbage • 1½ pounds ground pork • ⅓ cup uncooked short-grain white rice • 1 large egg, lightly beaten • 6 scallions, finely chopped (about 1 cup) • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh ginger (from a 2-inch piece) • 2 tablespoons soy sauce • 2 cups chicken broth • Sesame oil, for serving Heat oven to 350 degrees. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and season with salt. Prepare the cabbage: Remove about 12 large outer leaves, reserving the rest of the cabbage for another use. Once the water boils, lower the heat to medium so that the water reaches a gentle boil. Add the cabbage leaves, about 4 at a time, and cook until tender and flexible but leaves remain intact and maintain their crunch, about 2 minutes. Transfer to a towel-lined plate and set aside to cool slightly while you make the filling. Repeat with remaining cabbage leaves. Prepare the filling: In a large bowl, combine pork, rice, egg, scallions, ginger and soy sauce with 2 teaspoons salt and 1 teaspoon pepper. Assemble the cabbage rolls: Working with one cooked cabbage leaf at a time, place it on a cutting board or other flat surface with its stem end at the bottom. Spoon a heaping ¼ cup of the pork mixture in the center and mold the mixture into a rough 2- to 3-inch log. Pull the stem end over the meat mixture, and fold the right and left sides of the leaf over and roll tightly to the very top. AD I’m an ex personal chef and this is the kind of breakfast I would make for my clients on the weekend when they were taking things a little bit slower. A crisp potato rosti, soft poached egg, warm asparagus and tomatoes with a healthy drizzle of mustardy yoghurt! This is a restaurant style breakfast that needs a barista style coffee to go with it! Using the @Ninja UK Luxe Café machine to make a lovely cold foam iced coffee. Perfect for as the mornings get warmer!  Ingredients: 1 large potato  1 egg  2 tbsp flour  2 eggs  handful of tomatoes handful of asparagus  2 tbsp greek yoghurt  1 tsp dijon mustard  parmesan to serve  Method:  grate the potato into a muslin cloth and then squeeze out as much of the liquid as you possibly can into this, the egg and flour with some seasoning and then form into a patty and fry in oil on both sides until golden. Roughly 5 minutes per side.  Meanwhile, sauté your asparagus and tomatoes for 5 minutes. Poach your eggs.  Mix the yoghurt and mustard together, loosen with water to make a dropping consistency. Layer the rosti with the egg, vegetables and yoghurt sauce and finish with parmesan.  #NinjaLuxeCafe
