Using @BounceCurl clarifying shampoo, leave-in conditioner and gel, Alberto Balsman conditioner. The main focus of this routine is that you do the entire routine is the shower. Once you apply the conditoner, you don’t rinse it out. Instead, you dip your hair in a bowl of water multiple times and scrunch in between. This method 🤝 defined juicy curl clumps 🥣🤤 If you wanna try the bowl method, here’s my entire routine written down: 💦 1: After you’ve shampooed and conditioned your hair, apply your curl cream, the one I’m using is the homecurl cream from @Fenty Hair (so good) 💦 2: Grab a bowl and fill it with water, fill it to the top so it’s able to fully wet your hair (you can use any bowl for this, as long as it’s big enough to fit a good amount of your hair in it so you’re not doing this curl by curl haha) 💦 2: Dip your hair into the bowl and then scrunch, do this section by section 🥣 this method is supposed to hydrate the curls and help them clump together! 💦 3: After using the bowl method, you can (I didn’t here as I find the Fenty Hair Homecurl cream can be used as a one and done) scrunch in some gel to lock the curls in place 💦 4: Then I waited 10 minutes after styling to let the curls set, I find that this helps me avoid wonky curls 🩷 💦 5: Finally I used my @Curlsmith defrizzion diffuser, hover and pixie diffusing my curls until they were completely dry! And this is exactly why I ALWAYS diffuse 💀⏱️ ⏱️ I haven’t tried air drying in years, genuinely, but I can’t believe it took over three hours for my hair to dry 😭 ⏱️ But yeah, this is literally why I diffuse, I hate the feeling of wet hair, and having to go through that for 3+ hours is just not it Pros of air drying 👉 Healthier? Less heat so less chance of heat damage if you like diffusing on high heat and don’t use a heat protectant 👉 Easier for some as they can get on with their day whilst letting their hair dry, instead of diffusing 👉 Cheaper, diffusers can be expensive Pros of diffusing 👉 My curls are more defined and bouncy (because the water / weight of the water is removed more quickly) 👉 Takes a LOT less time - usually around 45 mins 👉 Less frizz - because my curls take longer to dry when air drying I found it really tricky to not touch them / let them touch things during this time, resulting in excess frizzzz 🩷 The diffuser I usually use and love is the @Curlsmith Defrizzion Dryer, it’s my holy grail diffuser 🩷 Overall, I’d always opt for diffusing, and actually find it quite relaxing 😂 I will not be air drying again for a long time #curlyhair #curlyhairtips #3acurls #curlygirl #curlyhairroutine #curls #curly #curlscurlscurls #curlyhaircare #washday #curldefinition
