Breaking News: Why Aaron Parnas Matters More Than You Think
I’ll be honest—when Aaron Parnas first popped into my feed, I didn’t think much of it. It felt like every post was “breaking news.” Like clockwork, he’d show up reading headlines, deadpan delivery, just... reading. No flashy transitions, no debates, no yelling. Just news. At first, I shrugged it off. “It can’t all be breaking,” I thought. But it kept showing up. And then something shifted.
Without even realizing it, I was paying attention. Every time he popped up, I watched. All of it. Every word. Eventually I caught myself seeking it out—waking up and heading to his feed to see what I missed while I was asleep. The same guy I once found mildly annoying had become a part of my daily routine. And I had to stop and ask: Why?
At first glance, Aaron isn’t “breaking” the news. He isn’t reporting from a war zone. He’s not interviewing senators. He’s not shouting over anyone on cable news. What he’s doing is delivering the news. Straight. Clean. No spin. And in today’s landscape, that’s revolutionary.
We live in a time when everything—everything—is tainted by spin, outrage algorithms, and performance. The news industry has become indistinguishable from a game show, complete with dramatic music, polarizing talking heads, and constant emotional manipulation. Everyone’s selling something: fear, ideology, tribal loyalty. And in that chaos, trust has collapsed.
Aaron cuts through all that.
He’s not pretending to be neutral, but he doesn’t condescend either. He curates the important headlines, gives you context, and moves on. If you want more, he points you to his Substack. Simple. Efficient. And, dare I say, journalism—even if it’s not what some old-school gatekeepers would recognize as such.
That’s what makes him powerful. And necessary.
See, we used to have Walter Cronkite. News meant someone you could trust to tell you what was happening—just the facts. Sure, there was bias even then, but there was an effort to minimize it. Today? The major networks are locked in ideological warfare, and social media is an endless stream of distortion. The left and right both curate narratives—but only one side (guess which) lies with impunity. And the platforms? They reward it.
In that toxic environment, Aaron is doing something vital: delivering accurate, relevant, timely information without performative BS. That alone makes him indispensable. It may not be flashy, but it’s what a lot of us have been starving for.
And here’s the best part: a whole generation thinks it’s something new. Gen Z sees Aaron’s feed and says, “Wow, this is fresh.” But it’s really a return to something older and better—news you can trust. They weren’t around for the Cronkite era. This is their Cronkite. That’s not a diss—it’s a compliment. They recognize authenticity when they see it.
That’s why I’m working on integrating Aaron’s feed directly into the RESIST app. I want everyone scrolling through to come across his updates—real, rapid-fire info from a trustworthy source. No fluff. No filter. Just the kind of news that actually matters when you’re trying to push back against authoritarianism and disinformation.
And no, he doesn’t need to do anything extra. He’s already doing the work across TikTok, Substack, and more. I’ll do the legwork to bring it into our app—because amplifying voices like his is exactly what the resistance needs.
So if you haven’t paid attention to Aaron Parnas yet, start now. And if you have, take a second to realize how rare and valuable that presence is.
This is what it looks like to rebuild trust in truth. Not by shouting louder, but by cutting through the noise.
Thanks, Aaron. Keep going.

·2024-2-22#tiktokban We are just 5 days away from TikTok disappearing from the United States. The penalties will start being enforced on Saturday unless Trump either has a sale done or he extends the delay for TikTok. Anything can happen.
