This is my presentation for the third draft resolution, which calls on the province to recognize #Housing as a human right! 🏢 The first calls on the province to adopt European elevator standards, rather than American ones, which are more expensive to build and maintain. 🤝 The second calls for the province to establish and administer an opt-in lobbyist registry for municipalities in #BCPoli . You can find the full resolutions and their respective backgrounders at: www.Saanich.ca These are now onward to #UBCM2025 , where they will be debated and voted on by municipal council members from across the province, and those that are adopted will go on to be part of the advocacy of UBCM. #BritishColumbia #LocalGovernment
