Benue gov appoints 2baba as technical adviser
Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, has appointed veteran musician, Innocent Ujah Idibia, well known as 2Face/ 2Baba, as his Technical Adviser on Entertainment and Community Outreach.
The governor applauded the music icon for his lasting impact in the entertainment industry and his dedication to the development of Benue State.
The video which captured the announcement of the appointment also showed members of the state’s executive council applauding the appointment, expressing confidence in 2Baba’s ability to make meaningful contributions in his new role.
Alia said in the video, "Let me thank you very deeply for supporting my administration and for propelling me for 2027.
“And I feel it will not be out of place at all because you are a guru of entertainment. Once you say 2Face, people start dancing, even without the song.
“So we are happy you’re here on behalf of the Benue State government and our very good people who want to give you more responsibility plus the ones you have been doing because you can do some more and help us chart a way forward to improve other people’s lives and to gain more from your wisdom and advisement as well. So I’m pleased to announce that we will make you a technical advisor to the Governor on entertainment and community outreach.”

Despite spending so much of his puppyhood at the shelter, Glacier is incredibly loving, gentle, and happy. Adoptable through @Underdog Heroes This HUGE, 1.5 year old beautiful Husky is as amazing as they come. He’s potty trained, crate trained, and X-pen trained—completely trustworthy in the house with no resource guarding and no destructive chewing. Despite his wolf-like appearance, he’s calm, low-energy, and incredibly affectionate—snuggling is his absolute favorite activity! He adores kids and loves all dogs, though he plays best with those 40 lbs and up because of his size. He enjoys a good 2-mile walk but doesn’t need much exercise to be happy.
