On Monday, the FBI gave an update on the search for Travis Decker, nearly three months since Decker allegedly murdered his three daughters, saying they currently have "no evidence" that Decker is alive or dead. Over 100 FBI personnel are on the ground searching a quarter-mile radius around the crime scene to collect "all possible evidence" on where the fugitive father might be, according to Peter Orth, supervisory senior resident agent for the FBI Seattle field office.

President Trump met with police and military in Washington, D.C., on Thursday to oversee the surge in federal law enforcement and National Guard, who are responding to what he says is a crime emergency in the district. Trump visited a federal police facility that is serving as the gathering point for the agencies involved in the operation, thanking officers and members of the military — and delivering hamburgers and pizza from the White House. The president spoke for several minutes, touting his anti-crime push. "You got to be strong, you got to be tough," Trump told the group. "You got to do your job. Whatever it takes to do your job."
