How to Clean your Electric Kettle in 3 Steps!
We have a Zojirushi Water Boiler, but this works for pretty much any machine that your boil tap water in.

Tldr just pour vinegar in and boil it lol

Step 1: Vinegar + Water
Just mix water and vinegar (1:1 or 1:3). You don’t necessarily need to fill it up to the max line but i haven’t done this in a while so that’s what i did. Boil the mixture or use the descaling feature. Then empty it

Step 2: Just Water
Rinse out the little nasty bits of minerals that would be floating in the water. and once it looks pretty clean and fill it with fresh water. Boil it up again and dispense some water to make sure there’s no vinegar essence.

Step 3: Reset
Do it again if you’re sus about the vinegar flavours but once or twice is all you really need to remove any reminisce of vinegar. And then you can fill it up with fresh water to start using the machine again like normal

I still have a weird looking spot at the bottom that doesn’t seem to go away. But that’s probably cause I haven’t cleaned it in awhile. So don’t be like me. Aim to do this every season and hopefully your kettle doesn’t develop those spots like mine.

This Zojirushi water boiler was a game changer especially at the newborn stage. I love how versaintile it is since now I use it mostly for hot tea and it’s especially perfect when hosting. #momhacks #momlife #musthave #motherhoodtips #momsoftiktok #parentinghacks #momtips

What does it mean to “be in hot water”?
In hot water = In trouble.
“He forgot the deadline—now he’s in hot water.”
“You’ll be in hot water if you keep arriving late.”

RECIPE - Serves 2 1 chicken breast (sliced in half) 1 Cup flour 2 eggs 2 cup panko breadcrumb Omelette: 2 tbsp soy sauce ⅔ C chicken stock 4 eggs Pinch of salt Pinch white pepper Pinch black pepper 1 tbsp mirrin 1 tsp sugar 1 onion -Set up 3 large plates. Plate 1 with flour, salt & pepper. Mix to combine. On the 2nd plate whisk 2 eggs. Plate 3 is panko breadcrumbs -In a large pot heat about 1 litre of oil for deep frying. You can use less oil in a deep pan and shallow fry (This would just mean you’d need to flip the chicken halfway through cooking) -Slice chicken horizontally. Cover with cling wrap and beat to thin the breast out -Season with salt & pepper on both sides -Place chicken into flour and coat both sides. Then cover in egg on plate 2 before finally moving to plate 3 and covering in breadcrumb -Once oil is at about 180c add chicken in and cook until 75 celsius internal temp (about 6 mins) -While chicken is cooking prep omelette by adding all ingredients into a bowl and whisking well to combine -Fry half the onion for 1 min, add half of omelette mix and cook until it is about halfway set (3-4 mins). Move omelette into the centre of pan and allow to cook another minute and remove. You want the omelette to still be quite wet & juicy. Repeat process with 2nd half of omelette mix -Place omelette on cooked rice, chop chicken and serve with kewpie mayo, sesame seeds & green onion. -Oil temperature is the most difficult part of this recipe! Too cold & your chicken will take on lots of oil and not be crispy. Too hot & you risk burning the outside & under cooking the chicken. Invest in a kitchen thermometer! #katsudon #ChickenKatsu #Katsu #Recipe #RapRecipe #NatCooking

This browned butter sage pasta is proof that simple ingredients can still hit like luxury. One pan, one pot, and a whole lotta flavor. Save this for when you wanna impress without stress. 🍝🤤 Inspo: @burntbuttertable Ingredients: 7 oz dried spaghetti (about half a box) 1 stick unsalted butter (cut into cubes) 10 fresh sage leaves 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper 2 oz Pecorino Romano cheese, finely grated ⅔ cup reserved pasta water, divided Salt to taste Instructions Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the butter with the sage leaves until the butter is golden and fragrant. Transfer the sage to a paper towel-lined plate and pour the browned butter into a bowl. Cook the spaghetti until al dente, reserving about 1 cup of pasta water before draining. Return the browned butter to the skillet over low heat. Whisk in ⅓ cup of pasta water and the black pepper until slightly thickened. Add the drained pasta along with another ⅓ cup of pasta water. Toss well and spread into an even layer. Sprinkle the Pecorino evenly over the pasta and let it sit undisturbed for a minute over very low heat. Toss and spin the pasta with tongs until a glossy sauce forms. Taste and season with salt if needed, then serve topped with the crispy sage leaves. #pasta #eas#easyrecipememade #foodie #cooking #foodtiktok

Replying to @Soogia (SOO-jee-yah) My Korean parents try Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich for the first time. Koreans eat lots of strawberry jam (in fact mom loves putting jam on ham & cheese sandwiches 😅)  but peanut butter was not common in Korea until recent years. So they’ve never tried this beautiful combination Americans grew up on. #pbnj #pbj #pbjsandwich #sandwich #mukbang #foodreview #tryingforthefirsttime

Week 25 - Drain the Water Heater Time to flush the (HOT) water heater. The homies got on me last time for saying “hot”…I’ve learned my lesson 😂 Over time, sediment buildup in your water heater can reduce its efficiency and even cause damage. Draining the tank helps clear out sediment and ensures your water heater works effectively. 1. Turn off the power 2. Turn off the cold water supply 3. Attach a hose 4. Drain the tank 5. Flush the tank 6. Refill 7. Turn On 🏠Follow to stay on top of all your home maintenance. 📩 Sign up for my free weekly home maintenance reminders. . . . . #homemaintenance #homereminders #hometips
