I can’t believe that my son will be a year old later this week. I also can’t believe how ready I am to stop breastfeeding! With my daughter, I went a little longer, but this time around, too be honest, most days I feel SO touched out. I’m ready to have my body back and ready to get baby boy off the boobie.

Since he’s almost a year old, I’ve started the process of weaning him using the same process I used for his big sister. While it’s definitely not a cold turkey method, in my experience, it works really well. I was able to wean my daughter with no tears from either of us, and so far, it’s going the same for my son.

Every mama and baby is different, but this has worked really well for me and I hope it works for you too.
