Mars bar millionaire crunch 😍 This is one of my most viewed recipes on the website! Full recipe below 👇 Here’s what you need: 200 g Mars bars 100 g Butter 2 tbsps Golden syrup 140 g Rice Krispies 220 g Milk chocolate For the caramel: 100 g Butter 100 g Soft brown sugar 397 g Tin of condensed milk Here’s how you make it: 1. Grease and line a 20 cm baking tin with baking paper. 2. Chop the Mars bars into smaller pieces, then add them to saucepan along with the butter and the golden syrup. 3. Place the pan over a low heat and stir until it has all melted together. 4. Place the rice krispies into a large mixing bowl, then pour the melted chocolate mixture over. Mix well until the rice krispies are completely coated. 5. Tip the mixture into the lined baking tin and press it down firmly. Set it aside whilst you get the caramel ready. 6. For the caramel, melt the butter and the soft brown sugar over a medium heat until it has melted. Pour the condensed milk in and mix well. 7. Bring it to the boil, then turn the heat down slightly, but so it is still bubbling. Stir it continuously for 2-3 minutes until it is dark and golden. 8. Pour the caramel over the rice krispies. Leave it to cool slightly before placing it into the fridge for about an hour to cool completely. 9. Melt the milk chocolate in a heat proof bowl over a pan of simmering water. Once fully melted pour it over the caramel and spread evenly into the edges. 10. Place it into the fridge for a couple of hours until the chocolate has set. Once set, cut it into portions and serve. Tip: boil the caramel for a few minutes, stirring continuously. For best results leave it to cool slightly before pouring it over the krispie base. Creamy Chorizo Pasta 😍 Ingredients 200 g Rigatoni 200 g Chorizo, cut into small chunks 1 Red pepper, diced 1 tbsp Tomato paste 1 tsp Paprika 200 ml Chicken stock 140 g Cream cheese 20 g Basil, torn Parmesan to serve (optional) Instructions 1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water for 2 minutes less than the packet states. 2. In a large frying pan, heat a small amount of cooking oil over a medium-high heat. Pour in the chicken stock, then let it simmer and reduce slightly. Once the pasta is al dente, drain it, but keep some pasta water behind. 5. Add the pasta into the pan and toss to coat. Add in the cream cheese and fresh basil and stir it well. If the sauce needs loosening up a bit, then add some of the pasta water. 6. Taste for seasoning, then dish it up and finish with some grated parmesan. Enjoy. Have a go at this and let me know how you get on! 🩵💛 #recipe #pasta #chorizo

Mini egg chocolate brownies 😍 The ultimate Easter treat! 🐣 full recipe below ⬇️ 200 g Dark chocolate 70% 200 g Unsalted butter 300 g Golden caster sugar 3 Whole eggs 1 Egg yolk 100 g Plain flour 50 g Cocoa powder 300 g Mini Eggs, smashed up (keep some back for on top) Here’s how to make them: 1. Preheat the oven to 165℃. Line a 22x32cm baking tin with baking paper. 2. Cut the butter into chunks, place in a heat proof bowl along with the dark chocolate and melt it over a pan of simmering water until there are no lumps left, take off the heat and set aside to cool slightly. 3. Use an electric whisk to beat the eggs, egg yolk and the sugar until it is pale and thick, it should double in size. 4. Pour the melted chocolate into the egg/sugar mix and fold through, be careful not to knock the air out of it. Use the figure of 8 method, going around and under. 5. Use a sieve to add the flour and cocoa. Fold the mix all together, then fold through two thirds of the mini eggs. 6. Pour the fudgy mixture into a lined baking tray and spread the mix into the edges. Sprinkle over the remaining mini eggs. 7. Place in the oven at 165℃ for 22-25 minutes. It should have a slight wobble in the middle and will have formed a paper like crust. 8. Leave it to cool until it is at room temperature. I like to put it in the fridge for a few hours before cutting it into portions. Enjoy.
