·2023-8-8Golden milk latte ✨🍯💛 This is one of my favorite drinks to make when I want something warm & cozy to sip on without any caffeine! It is also amazing for when you have a cold, turmeric helps reduce inflammation and the ginger and honey is so soothing! Ingredients - 1/2 cup boiling water - 1/4 tsp ground turmeric - 1/4 tsp ground ginger - 1/4 tsp cinnamon - Tiny crack of black pepper - 1 cup milk (you can use any type) - 1/2 tbsp honey (add less or more depending on how sweet you want it) - 1/4 tsp vanilla extract How to: - Add boiling water to a mug with the ground turmeric, ginger, cinnamon and black pepper. Stir to combine. - Froth the milk with honey and vanilla extract. I use my nespresso frother, but if you don’t have one you can use a handheld frother or just heat the milk, honey and vanilla in a saucepan. - Pour the frothed milk into mug and top with a sprinkle of cinnamon. Enjoy! #healthyrecipes #easyrecipe #goldenmilk #drink #goldenmilklatte #cleaneating

·2023-8-22Flu Bomb. I’ll comment the benefits of each ingredient but honestly, I’ve been feeling 10/10 every single day I drink this. For the cayenne pepper, work your tolerance up but starting small until you can manage a teaspoon a day. If you’re starting you may experience a sore tummy. Everything is natural but please discuss with your healthcare professional also. #health #juice #tumeric #cayenne #drink

·2023-7-14Day 24 | ANTI-INFLAMMATORY SHOTS So it’s day 24 of posting anti-inflammatory tips that I’m finding - and my current obsession is these tumeric and ginger shots (especially after finding out that they literally don’t work if you don’t have some KEY Ingredients!) I literally throw all the ingredients into the blender: 🫚100g ginger 🍊2 oranges 🟠2 tablespoon of tumeric 🖤1 tspn black pepper 🫒2 tablespoons olive oil 💦1.2L of water …and your done! If your orange and ginger are organic - leave the skin on! 🔑Black pepper = strengthens the anti-inflammatory effects 🔑Oil (or any fat source) helps activate the Curcumin which is the anti-inflammatory chemical inside the tumeric!! I use mine up in around 3-4 days because I have 2 per day! They should keep in the fridge for 5 days if bottled well, and remember you can freeze them in ice cube trays if you like batch cooking! So WHY don’t supermarkets have fat in their shots? Idk 🥲 Hope this helps! ·2024-9-24Ginger & Turmeric Anti-Inflammatory shots! …easy, budget friendly + NO JUICER NEEDED! I have been LOVING my G&T shots, but I’ve switched them up a bit to make them more effective, easier and better in your blood sugar! Updates from my last recipe: no straining, so the pulp is included (barely notice it I promise!), cinnamons powder which also helps with blood sugar (along with the fibre from the pulp)…and I’ve swapped the cute shot bottles to these big ones! Less cleaning, and easier to use ! RECIPE: - 1 organic lemon - 2 organic oranges - 2 thumps of ginger - 2 tablespoons of turmeric - Black pepper (around a teaspoon) - 1 tablespoon of olive oil - Filtered water (enough to cover the mixture!) ^ and that’s it! Follow @sophie.richards for more anti-inflammatory tips, and I’ll see you tomorrow! #AntiInflammatory #GutHealth #TurmericBenefits #GingerShots #HolisticHealth #WellnessTips #BloodSugarBalance #NaturalRemedies #HealthyHabits #antiinflammatorydiet
