This has to be one of my favourite handmade flower gifts I’ve ever done!!! We make a special foam called' flower-forming foam' that reacts to heat and allows you to change its density to make it look more like a real flower petal. I’ve been working (more like playing!) with it for years! Every time I use our Gemini machine people always ask ‘what’s that’ so for any of you not as familiar with some of the more intricate cardmaking techniques this is die-cutting (and it’s what we’re probably most well-known for at @crafterscompanion) and it’s a great way to cut out all these little shapes that I’ve used on this card - and then finished it off with a little folded envelope on the front. I have just pulled this lovely craft project out of my box of ‘spring decorations ’ up the loft and I’d forgotten I’d made it last year so I thought I’d re-share the video with you all as it’s a super simple and really effective one. If you’ve got some wire then it’s super easy to make (or you could always re-shape a metal coat hanger for the same effect), just thread on a few beads, and then I just glue-gunned some foliage on there but if you wanted to spruce it up and colour theme it you could just as easily add some flowers.
