Making Phutu pap for the first time. This so so easy and all I needed was to watch a Tiktok video and then try it myself. I don't think I'll make normal pap after I learnt this new skill. All I added was a little Rama and more mielie meal than usual and a fork. I had so much fun making this.

Hey Plated Fam! Here’s how I make uphuthu You will need: *1 1/2 cups of water *1/2 teaspoon of salt *2-3 cups of maize meal Method Brin water to boil and add in salt. Reduce heat to low. Add in your maize meal and cover pot for 3 minutes. Open pot and use a fork to fluff out your maize meal. Cover pot for 3 minutes and repeat fluffing out step. Repeat this until you get your desired consistency.
