With the leaked reveal of Telltales: 'The Walking Dead' season 5, 'A New Beginning,' comes the return of the beloved character, "Lee Everett." Fans have theorized about how Lee could not only survive a bite, but also about how he could've survived a bullet wound to the head. The leading theory, is that the canonized ending would be for him to lose his arm, and the infection he sustained was along the same lines as Alicia Clarke's infected from 'Fear The Walking Dead.' He could also just simply be immune. Now, about the gunshot wound. While that scene plays out, Lee has the option to tell Clementine to shoot him (to prevent the turn) but, he also tells her to close her eyes. While she takes the shot, she has her eyes closed, she's facing a different direction, and she's nervously shaking. When she shoots, the screen goes black and we never see Lee's body. With all of those things in mind, it's very likely that Clementine actually missed the brain, and just grazed and knocked him out. There's a final breath after the screen cuts to black, which most assumed was Lee's LAST breath, but with these leaks afoot, more believe it was his FIRST breath after reawakening from his unconscious state. || || Animation:
