Michael Mansfield KC, barrister and head of chambers at Nexus Chambers, spoke outside New Scotland Yard yesterday after lodging a complaint against 10 British dual nationals who served with the Israeli military in Gaza. Mansfield is part of a group of lawyers who submitted a 240-page dossier to the Scotland Yard’s war crimes unit, alleging the targeted killing of civilians and aid workers – including by sniper fire – as well as indiscriminate attacks on civilian areas, including hospitals.

The Public Interest Law Centre says the dossier provides a detailed overview of the alleged crimes committed in Gaza, outlining the involvement of specific military units and the criminal liability of the suspects based on their affiliations and roles in the armed conflict between 7 October 2023 and 31 May 2024.

Raji Sourani, a Palestinian lawyer and Director of the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights in Gaza, tells Novara Media outside New Scotland Yard today why he, along with other legal experts, has submitted a landmark report to the Met Police, alleging that British dual nationals fighting with the IDF in Gaza have committed war crimes and crimes against humanity.
