Reclaim the Body With Daily Exposure Ice baths, cold showers, workouts, —they teach your system you’re safe in discomfort. If you’re not physically testing your body daily, your nervous system stays in threat response. ⸻ 4. Talk To Your Nervous System Like a Leader When it freaks out, don’t ask “why?”—that fuels the fire. Say: “We’ve been here before. I’m safe. I’ve got this.” You’re not here to babysit your fear—you’re here to lead it. ⸻ 5. Eliminate Nervous System Poison Cut out: • Endless scrolling • Caffeine overload • Emotional suppression • Trying to “think” your way out of somatic patterns Regulation requires space. Start committing to daily nervous system rituals like: • Somatic shaking • Slow, weighted movements • Grounding meditations • Vocal toning (deep humming activates the vagus nerve) Consistency rewires. Discipline heals. ⸻ 7. Process Your Sh*t, Don’t Numb It Regulation doesn’t mean avoiding emotions. It means letting them move through you without attaching stories.
